The Space Q Capsule hotel will appeal to to budget travellers who want to stay in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance to Central Railway Station and Chinatown. It is a converted building with rooms over three floors, each with 8-10 capsule pods. Shared bathroom and shower facilities are tight and offer privacy that can be best described as "cosy". The capsule are surprisingly comfortable and not as claustrophobic as I had imagined they would be. A soft coloured lighting in the pod seems to do the trick. The capsules are equipped with power and USB points. Secure individual locker space is provided with each pod. Making it up to reception on the first floor and higher levels may be difficult if you have heavy bags and the lift is not working. Service is efficient and friendly
