When we think of Italy, drinking coffee is a must. It is a ritual that is observed throughout Italy. Like many Calabrians, we prefer our coffee strong and creamy.
Established in 1895 in Calabria, Italy, our coffee became well known amongst the local people for its rich blend of a truly authentic Espresso Coffee.
In the late 1800s, the roasting began when the Valenti family traded their olives from their olive farms for green coffee beans. These beans arrived from the ports and were then roasted to the Espresso blend. This blend was then passed down to the following generations who eventually settled in Sydney, Australia. As a result of this historic process the Espresso blend continues to thrive.
